Alessandra Pastor, M.Ed.
As a compassionate and collaborative learning and development specialist, I'm passionate about igniting a love of learning in adult learners and empowering them to reach their full potential.
One of my strongest attributes is my ability to build long-lasting partnerships. My experience living and teaching in Warsaw, Poland, has not only broadened my perspective but also equipped me with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with individuals from all backgrounds. This has been invaluable in my three years as a learning and development professional, where I thrive on partnering with stakeholders to create authentic and engaging learning experiences grounded in theories related to motivation. I believe that effective learning should be both meaningful and enjoyable; who says learning in the workplace can't be fun?
I currently work for Human Resource’s Learning and Organizational Development Team at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Personal Interests
Beyond my professional life, I embrace many passions and pursuits. I’m an avid reader and active participant in my book club, a devoted animal-lover, a (slow) knitter, and an adventurous traveler who has explored 41 countries and counting! Above all, I deeply value the communities that have grown from these interests.
